Vintage US Tiffany Studios Peacock Leaded Lamp Stained Glass Lamp Reproduction
Hello and thank you for looking. For your consideration is an absolutely gorgeous vintage reproduction of an 18 Tiffany Studios peacock leaded glass lamp. The full sized 18 shade sits atop a heavy reproduction of a Tiffany Studios Base which is known as their Decorated Library Base; a more elaborate incarnation of their standard library base. The base stands a full 26 in height.
I believe the glass in the shade speaks for itself. You can see all of the complex streaking, rippling, mottling, and other effects that are found in the original Tiffany Studios peacock. The leading is extremely well done, and finished with a lovely chocolatey patina with embellishments of blue/green patination made famous by Tiffany Studios. The lamp is in wonderful condition, with just a a very few small heat cracks, none of which are concentrated in one area. Like most lamps of high quality, as lovely as this appears in pictures, it displays far better in person.
