Here's an absolutely MASSIVE and extremely colorful Chicago Mosaic floral shade. This shade is just huge...... 28" in diameter but only 9 1/2" deep. As with most Chicago Mosaic shades, the colors are just incredible. These guys used primarily granite backed glass that really fires when lit, and this shade is an excellent example of this.

Some of these really large shades have issues with broken, replaced or sagging glass, but this one does not. It is in incredible shape. I see maybe a couple of small cracks there and there, but nothing serious. Also, there do not appear to be any replaced pieces. It is really just as good as the day they made it and ones in this condition are truly hard to find.

This shade would be best as a hanger.... Maybe over your kitchen table or in the living room. You could also make a great floor lamp out of it if you could find the right base. Its just a beautiful, HUGE, and extremely colorful example of Chicago Mosaic's finest work.
