RARE Limited Edition Disney Mary Poppins Tiffany Style Stained Glass Lamp
RARE LIMITED EDITION DISNEY MARY POPPINS 40TH ANNIVERSARY TIFFANY STYLE STAINED GLASS LAMP. The lamp was designed by Kevin Kidney and produced in 2004 in a limited edition of 1,500. The lamp has a likeness of Mary Poppins, complete with her umbrella and suitcase, seemingly floating beside the bronzed metal base. The stained glass shade is also shaped like an umbrella with a combination of pink, purple, and blue colors, inlaid flowers, and clear "jewels". The array of colors color "is worthy of an English sunset sky". The lamp stands about 19 1/8 tall to the top of the finial. The shade is approximately 12 in diameter. The lamp base is 6 1/4 wide at the bottom. I do NOT have the original box or paperwork. Condition of this collectible lamp is VERY GOOD. Mary Poppins was detached on the top side when I bought her but still firmly attached at the bottom (a common problem with these lamps).
I reattached her top side and it appears to be holding. I looked it over carefully for any cracked glass pieces and didn't see any. The stained glass has expected striations and bubbles, but no cracks.
The lamp lights up and the switch works properly. Overall, this hard-to-find lamp looks fantastic and displays beautifully. It's ready to plug in and use in your home.
