THIS is not a reproduction but a genuine 90 year old or so "solid brass-everywhere" antique. I had to clean it took 2 days off and on-carefull removal of a ton of dust and surface corrosion. The wires took about a day working my way down to fine steel wool to see the brighter brass and they were clear-coated-one may see discolorations, but that is solid brass with a small part without the original clear coat-aged differently. The body was originally clear-coated still holding. Its look was still excellent over all, so it was only wiped down with mild ammonia to get everything very clean--this is-----a rare art deco stained glass oval bowl chandelier with 6 lights.

This is a stunning piece with deep red glass looking down on a beautiful art deco design from the 20's or 30's. As mentioned any slight discoloration in the brass is purely the original laquer worn off in spots though not noticeable. Solid brass rods comprise the unique 30 inch height of the piece.

30 inches from bottom of oval bowl to the top ring holding the rod ends, these rods fold up in part -less than 1/2 the height but not flat. Approx 4 feet of chain with a plug at end of the wire. All link chains-their hieght can be changed. Electrical wire -likely a replacement from the past is in vg condition and can be shortened or extended by proper crimp splices.
