Early 20th century antique american "pine cone" pattern cream slag art glass table lamp designed and fabricated by Apollo Studios, New York City, NY. Aollo Studios of New York was a division of Bernard Rice & Sons, and was in existence between 1909 and 1922. Apollo was a contemporary of Tiffany Studios. The double pull-chain socket lamp contains a detachable pyramidal-shaped shade with original square-shaped finial intact.The tapered pedestal lamp base is supported by four finely detailed cast brass diminutive paw feet. Three of the original cream colored "slag" art glass panels have heat stress cracks (previous owners used too large of a bulb) the crack is visible on the shade exterior on one of the panels, please see photos. The intricately deigned brass filigree has developed a nicely age surface patina, left untouched.
