Beautiful Fulper Pottery Prang line Arts and Crafts / Art Deco transitional style lamp base and hand-made vintage reproduction, wheel-thrown and glazed ceramic shade with wonderfully translucent hand-cut and leaded stained glass accents. This lovely Fulper Pottery lamp base dates to circa 1910 and the replacement shade dates to approximately the 1970s to 1980s. The light this lamp gives off provides such a charming and quaint ambience when lit by a standard socket low-wattage bulb. The Fulper base features a yellow flambe glaze and the shade is a deep mahogany glaze that has a dramatic olive glaze dripping down over the dome shaped shade.

The stained glass panels are alternating pieces in a straw colored glass and slightly blueish colored glass. No damage, no repairs noted. Vintage rewiring with original light bulb socket and three-pronged shade holder.

Patent date on light bulb holder manufactured by Perkins is November 26, 1907 which supports a manufacture date of the Fulper lamp circa 1910. Measures approximately 15 1/4 tall overall. 9 1/2 from base to metal socket. Shade measures approximately 7 1/4 across in diameter. Vintage rewiring in good working order.

There is a glaze crazing that seems to be a hairline, but it is not as it doesn't go through the clay body underneath the base. All hand-cut and leaded stained glass pieces are intact and tightly secure, no looseness at all. Minor surface rubs may be present, commensurate with age and light use. See all photos as they are an integral part of the item description.

Any bright white spots are camera flash or glare and not damage. Minor areas of roughness in the glaze on the shade which are original to the making and are not damage - see photos for more details.
