Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco HANGING LEADED GLASS, STAINED GLASS LAMP

  
My wife and I discovered this fine example in an antique store in Paradise California. You might say we rescued this lamp in a way, as we took it home with us shortly before the "Camp Fire" that unfortunately devastated most of that beautiful area. Based on my experience I'll share with you some things I think are important to know. First and foremost, this lamp is HUGE. It measures 25 1/2 wide and 16 inches high. It incorporates an estimated 500 pieces of glass.

This is not a copy made somewhere recently in a factory overseas where hot glass was poured into a mold. Look at those beautiful tulips, so popular in the 20s. I have been able to find one small hairline shown in the second photograph and what appears to be a small repair shown in the last. You may find other imperfections. By its very nature of being old it is not "dead mint" or perfect. The lamp has been re-electrified, and the socket is not original. If you love antiques, this lamp can bring you the experience of beauty and enjoyment typical of what I believe to be a fine work of art. Includes 14 feet of chain with electrical wiring (not old) previously used in hanging the lamp.
